About the Help Desk Support role…

Job Purpose

The purpose of the help desk position is to provide support for fellow team members on various needs when it comes to technology support. This person will be responsible for not only fixing technology issues that arise, but also have the foresight to help implement preventative measures to keep our technology running smoothly. As we’re building out our wiki, this team member will continually contribute information in helping other teams members have a rich resource for support while minimizing repetition of issues that repeat itself.

Responsibilities and Goals

  • Going through help desk tickets, responding, and troubleshooting in a timely manner with the users that need support.
  • Supporting other team members in helping orchestrate a smooth start date for new hires.
  • Submitting purchase orders, tickets with vendors, and receiving/processing requests for software/hardware needs.
  • Documenting and assisting in quantifying tech policies and procedures as we scale.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 1.5 – 2 years of help desk experience.
  • Mobile Device Management, SCCM, Windows 7/10, MacOS, iOS, Linux, basic scripting, basic network troubleshooting, and management.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred

  • Must enjoy working w/ people in a high paced environment.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize throughout the day to day.
